EDTC112: Digital Tools & Application Software
As technology has become a driving force behind many inventions and a variety of solutions. I admit that familiarizing learners with it will always remain a good idea.
I'm going to spin a yard about a few Digital Tools, Application Softwares and their relevancy in teaching.
>ONLINE LIBRARIES are an outstanding resource for educators and learners. They give access to millions of books, articles and other resources that can be utilized for research projects in the classroom.
>DIGITAL TEXTBOOKS seem to be domination and becoming more popular in schools. They offer a couple of advantages over traditional books such as, interactive content, multimedia resources and regular updates. Digital textbooks are convenient financially since they do not need to be printed.
As I get down to Application softwares I will start with Edmodo.
This is an educational tool that connects teachers and learners and can be used like some form of social media platform as teachers can establish online collaborative groups and also provide educational materials, measure learners' performance and communicate with parents.
Then there's Thinglink that allows teachers to create interactive images with music, sounds, texts and photographs. Thinglink offers the possibility for teachers to create learning methodologies that rouses the curiosity of learners through interactive content that can expand their knowledge.
It is really an evident fact that technology keeps dominating and making things possible for the masses. It contributes to bringing out future technological craft inventors who will keep the pattern moving.

ReplyDeleteWow this is interesting, I mean if there are online libraries if a person is needing information urgently they can just access it online without having to get out of their current environment in order to get the library this is so nice.This information is so important thank you.
ReplyDeleteBeneficial digital tools for learners and this will help them to engage and in digital learning than hard copy text book. It even offer better context, greater sense of perspective and more flexibility than traditional education method.
